Course objectives
The course focuses on key participants in the teaching process (learner, teacher), their mutual interactions, the spatial and organizational arrangement of teaching, and the selection and use of didactic materials in education.
Learning outcomes
After completing the course, the student should be able to: - define fundamental didactic concepts (learner, teacher, interaction, motivation, needs, types and selection of documents, etc.), - understand the principles of organizing teaching, - apply acquired knowledge in the preparation and implementation of foreign language instruction.

Teaching methods
Seminar, discussion, presentations, individual work. Emphasis is placed on linking theory with practice, using active learning methods, and analyzing specific teaching situations. Students in combined (part-time) study are required to attend at least half of the consultations.
Assessment methods
The output of the course is the elaboration of a textbook analysis and one detailed lesson plan and its reflection after implementation. Students hand in the project at the end of the semester in printed or electronic form. Feedback is provided orally during the final expert discussion of the project.
