- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to develop students’ didactic skills related to the teaching of linguistic elements (pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar) and communicative skills (listening, reading, speaking, writing). The course explores the interrelation between language systems and skills, exercise typologies, gradation techniques, and methods for increasing learner engagement. Students will use their professional teaching portfolios and reflect on practical experiences related to the topics covered.
- Learning outcomes
- After completing the course, the student will be able to: • define and describe language systems and communication skills, • explain their interrelation in the context of foreign language teaching, • analyze and design effective exercises and activities for each skill, • plan lessons according to linguistic goals and learner level, • use a teaching portfolio and reflective practice to support lesson planning and evaluation.

- 1. Pronunciation and phonetic correction 2. Vocabulary and semantic fields 3. Grammar as a communicative tool 4. Teaching listening comprehension 5. Teaching reading comprehension 6. Teaching speaking (monologue, dialogue) 7. Teaching writing (functional styles and genres) 8. Exercise typology and gradation 9. Activation techniques and creative use of skills

- Teaching methods
- Seminars, group work, microteaching sessions, analysis of real teaching materials, video-based reflection, peer feedback. Emphasis on linking theory with practical classroom application. Students in part-time study must attend at least half of the scheduled consultations.
