Course objectives
The subject is of an propedeutic character. It should integrate natural and social sciences knowledge from the area of landscape and a perception of landscape and its influencing by human. Students work also with their own regional portfolio.
Learning outcomes
A student will be able to:

  • distinguish various types and structures of a landscape;
  • understand basic manifestations of a human life and it´s development;
  • use information from biological taxonomy;
  • name global problems connected with a sustainable life;
  • act responsibely as a citizen, use a municipal planning;
  • explain to pupils correctly and adequately concepts and ideas connected to changes in the landscape made by a human; and his positive and negative influences;
  • navigate in map types;

    To succesfully finish the subject students should be active druing the education. They should also wokr on seminar thesis and tasks set by teacher. At the end of semestr they will present their regional materials.
