Course objectives
The subject is of an propedeutic character. It should integrate natural and social sciences knowledge from the area of landscape and a perception of landscape and its influencing by human. Students work also with their own regional portfolio.
Learning outcomes
A student will be able to:

  • distinguish various types and structures of a landscape;
  • understand basic manifestations of a human life and it´s development;
  • use information from biological taxonomy;
  • name global problems connected with a sustainable life;
  • act responsibely as a citizen, use a municipal planning;
  • explain to pupils correctly and adequately concepts and ideas connected to changes in the landscape made by a human; and his positive and negative influences;
  • navigate in map types;
  • Describe the map composition;
  • create map in laboratory and outside.
