Course objectives
Students should be able to play small pieces of the world literature for solo piano from the Baroque to the present. At the end of the course students should be able to improvise when playing national folk songs and artificial songs.
Syllabus
  • Scales, chords, studies, interpretation of pieces of the world literature for solo piano from the Baroque to the present. Accompaniments to 20 national folk songs or artificial songs, stylized in accompaniment, playing according to the guitar marks.

Assessment methods
Credit. Lectures, drills, homeworks. Playing of accompaniments to 20 national folk songs or artificial songs, stylized in accompaniment, playing according to the guitar marks. The students have to visit the lectures (piano lessons).
