Course objectives
The aim of the course is to deepen students knowledge in education of students with special educational needs in mainstream school. Furthemore, students will learn how to reflect children/students needs and react on them adequately.
Learning outcomes
After the course completition student: - knows elementary characteristics of student with diverse type of special educational needs; - is equipped with competences for implementation of gained knowledge for support of students with SEN in educational process from the position of teacher (teacher assistant, etc.). - has the theoretical knowledge in education of child/student with SEN in inclusive education context and he/she is able to use them properly.

Teaching methods
Practical preparation in field of education of individuals with special educational needs. Analysis of the case studies already submitted in the course Special Education II. Co-teaching method.
Assessment methods
Test - summary examination of special education i. to iii. subjects, case study - team work/intervention activity (40 %; 60 %)
