Course objectives
The subject follows up the Language seminar 3 with the same goal: deepening and training the acquired knowledge and skills in practical language exercises and application linguistic knowledge (lexical and grammatical structures) – preparation for the diploma and final (exam) work. The course presupposes the C2 level of receptive and productive communicative skills.. At the end of this course, students should be able to: understand extended speech and long and complex factual and literary texts; understand specialised articles and longer technical instructions; express themselves fluently and spontaneously, and formulate ideas and opinions; express themselves in clear, well-structured written text, expressing points of view at some length.
  • 1. Comprehensive language exercises. 2. Translation exercises (denomination of a fact, total sense of the exposure, different language interpretation of the same fact). 3. Translations of coherent facts. Work with magazine texts (Le Point, L’ Express …). 4. Elaboration of current daily press information by means of Internet.
