Course objectives
The aim of the student conference is training of presentation skills in German language. Topics of presentations equal to semester paper.
Learning outcomes
The student can during the conference train the basic presentation skills in German language. Topics of presentations equal to semester paper.

  • The leading topic of the conference is: "Studies in German as a foreign Language". Respective topics of papers equal to semester papers.

Teaching methods
The presentation at the conference must be prepared autonomously. Requirements: linguistically and technically well formed presentation in (PowerPoint or printed poster as) well as a handout for the audience. The paper should be at least 15 minutes long. After that a discussion to the presented topic takes place and the student should be able to respond the questions and comments from the audience.
Assessment methods
Subject to evaluation are: ppt or poster, handout, presentation style, language and responses/ reactions. All criteria are evaluated in a point system - 60% are required for a successful completion of the course.
