Abstract
The aim of the course is to develop language skills (speaking, listening, reading and writing) and to acquire pronunciation, vocabulary and grammar at level A2 of the European Framework for Languages.
Learning outcomes
The student has acquired • the basics of correct German pronunciation, • vocabulary of the discussed lessons, • grammar of learned lessons. A graduate has developed speech skills at the elementary level below A2.

Method of verifying learning outcomes and course completion requirements
  • Final online test – pass mark 60%
  • Compulsory active participation in class 70% (4 absences permitted)
  • Completion of a mid-term test in the middle of the semester
  • If you have 5 or more absences or do not complete the mid-term test, you will be given an X grade (making it impossible to pass the course).
