Abstract
The course introduces students to a selected range of material manifestations of the traditional culture of the Central European countryside through the study of village settlements, folk architecture and traditional agriculture.
Learning outcomes
At the end of this course the student will be able to orientate himself in the basic terminology and typology of folk architecture and traditional agriculture. The student will be able to identify the typology and genesis of settlement forms, the traditional house and agrarian forms of subsistence in the Czech lands.
