Abstract
The purpose of the course is to introduce the objective, character and functioning of the basic institutions of historical research. It is also concentrated on guide books and manuals that serve both to better orientation in the aforementioned institutions and in the terminology of historical disciplines.
Learning outcomes
The students will be able to: define and characterize basic institutions of historical research; name and use guide books and manuals that serve both to better orientation in the aforementioned institutions (archive manuals, catalogues) and in the terminology of historical disciplines (encyclopedia, topographical handbooks, historical dictionaries); understand the principles of the historical method, heuristics and taxonomy of sources and scientific literature.
