Course objectives

The aim of the course is to provide students with the basic knowledge of Spanish.

Syllabus

• 1. Pronunciation, liaison, greetings.
• 2. Negation, question, gender, article.
• 3. Personal pronouns, verbs ending with -ar.
• 4. Plural, verbs ending with -er, -ir, irregular verbs "hacer", "tener".
• 5. Cases, prepositions, irregural verb "ser".
• 6. Conversion of genders, gender pairs, numerals 0-10, irregural verb "venir".
• 7. Adjectives, possessive pronouns, irregural verb "conocer".
• 8. Verb "estar", difference between "ser" and "estar". Irregural verbs "saber" and "salir".
• 9. Demonstrative pronouns. "Hay". Irregural verb "ver".
• 10. Irregural verbs "ir", "oír", imperative.
• 11. Hours, cardinal numerals 11-30, irregural verbs "cerrar", "dar".
• 12. Reflexive verbs, infinitive constructions.
• 13. Cardinal numerals 30-higher, irregural verb "costar".
