- One semester course.
At the end of the course students should be able to:
- understand and interpret basic realia necessary for culture oriented study of China
- actively apply Czech and English transcriptions; - Syllabus

- Teaching methods
- Course has a form of the lectures, where small test on transcription is taking place during each lecture. Students, in groups, will prepare short presentation on a given Chinese province in the second half of the course.
- Assessment methods
- Small test on transcriptions take place during each lecture. Before the oral exam, students have to pass (min. 80%) test on transcriptions (pinyin- Czech - Wade Giles)
