Course objectives
The course is the entry into the study of ethnicity and nationalism; it will introduce the basic terminology and methodological approaches, significant concepts and research in the realm of ethnic studies to the students.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course students should be able to define the basic terms (ethnic group, ethnicity, nation, nationality). They should be able to distinguish and analyse trends in research into the ethnicity theory and nationalism.
