Abstract
In this course, the student should learn to view the analysis of the individual components of a literary work (the language means selected by the author, genre determinants, the context of a particular literary movement, the prose fabula, and the metaphorical nature of poetry) in its context, as a whole in which the complex aesthetic effect of the work is not lost. The analysis of the individual works (the final choice will result from a discussion with the course participants) should also lead to the development (or enhancement) of the ability to place works in the literary-historical context.
