Course objectives
The aim of this course is to put the student into contact with the main text types (description, narration, exposition, instruction, argumentation) following E. Werlich's distinction.
Learning outcomes
Al termine del corso lo studente sarà in grado di
identify the different text types and genres;
write different kind of text forms;
use appropriate syntax and lexis.
Syllabus
  • The course is mostly online, held in the ELF platform.
  • In the online course "Italiano scritto" the student will find video-tutorials and more than 50 activities for practising reading comprehension, text analysis and written production. During the semester there will be four workshop-like classes. More specific information are in ELF.

Teaching methods
Online course on ELF platform. Only 2-3 class meetings (the student will receive information ontime).
Assessment methods
The student has to complete the ELF online course before the semester finishes (at least two weeks before the end of the semester). Class activities.
Final written text: the student has to write a text (he/she can choose between two different type of text) in 90 minutes.
