Course objectives
The course is divided into two mandatory seminars every week : a lecture with Czech teachers is dedicated to academic writing, the other part is devoted to the "dissertation" from texts in French.
Learning outcomes
-Consolidation and extension of the language skills and cultural knowledge The students should master the method of French dissertation. Output level of language according to CEFR: B2/C1
Syllabus
  • Lexical, semantic and stylistic analysis of selected literary texts. Special emphasis is devoted to the command of basic written forms such as "rédaction" in terms of individual written expression. Improving word formation capacity, reflection of stylistic levels in French. Apart from regular textbook usage (Saison 4, DIDIER ed.), the importance of work with authentic texts should not be underestimated: newspaper articles, radio broadcasts and similar audio recordings, video recordings.

Active participation in the course (only 2 missings are accepted)

Participation on class discussions and all written homeworks in time are requested.

Examination – written test for each part. Seminar attendance is mandatory.
