Course objectives
The student will obtain basic information, which is necessary for orientation in geographical education and the study of geography as a science. The greatest part is then devoted to presenting selected astronomical, geodetical, and geophysical knowledge, which directly influences many geographical processes and phenomena in the Earth landscape.

The course consists of lectures with the possibility of practicing theoretical knowledge using e-learning tools.
Assessment methods
Teaching takes the form of lectures and oral presentations. Ongoing and final examinations will be in the written form.
