- Abstract
- Mechanics and molecular physics is the introductory discipline of most university courses of general physics. Such its role is determined by its illustrativity and accessibility to human senous perceiving. The course is devoted to students of biophysics, applied physics and physical engineering. The two main goals are followed: * To present to students the problems and methods of classical mechanics on the university course level, including the adequately economical mathematical calculus. * By the practical teaching of such illustrative and accessible discipline, and especially by demonstration experiments, to introduce students into procedures and methods of physics, which form the tehnically-physical thinking and the ability to apply the physical results in other disciplines.
- Key topics
- 1. Experiment in physics. 2. Motion of a mass particle. 3. Motion in varoius reference frames. 4. Laws of motion in mechanics. 5. Equations of motion and their solutions. 6. Work and kinetical energy. 7. Potential energy, conservation of mechanical energy. 8. Motion of particle systems. 9. Motion of rigid bodies. 10. Mechanics of liquids-equilibrum. 11. Motion of liquids. 12. Makroscopical description of many particle systems. 13. Fundamentals of thermodynamics. 14. Fundamentals of kinetic theory of gases.

- Společné podmínky pro podání přihlášky ke zkoušce pro studenty oborů Biofyzika, Aplikovaná fyzika, Fyzikální inženýrství: Odevzdání a otestování deseti elaborátů sestavených z úloh jednotlivých kapitol literatury 1 a 2. Požadavky úspěšného ukončení předmětu: l. Znalost základních charakteristik popisu pohybu částice (trajektorie, rychlost, zrychlení,...)a schopnost s nimi počítat. 2. Schopnost řešit s porozuměním základní úlohy dynamiky hmotného bodu s využitím pohybových zákonů, silových zákonů a zákonů zachování (pohyb částice v silovém poli). 3. Schopnost aplikovat základní zákony dynamiky a zákony zachování při řešení úloh o pohybu tuhého tělesa (rotace tuhého tělesa kolem pevné osy). 4. Schopnost použít s porozuměním základní poznatky z mechaniky pro řešení úloh o statické rovnováze a proudění kapalin (rozložení tlaku v kapalině, vytékání kapaliny z nádoby). 5.
