Course objectives
A tissue culture is the growth of cells (tissue) separate from the organism. This term usually is used in the context of animal tissue culture, while the more specific term plant tissue culture is used for plants. The aim of course is to acquaint students with principles and significance of tissue culture methodology. Tissue culture techniques make possible to explore and understand the key patterns of biology on cellular and tissue levels. Tissue culture represent the basic techniques for biotechnology and for analysis of a interactions of cell and tissue with physical and chemical factors.
