Course objectives
The aim of the lecture is introduction to basic topics in geography of tourism.

  • 1. Introduction (terminology, types of tourism, geography of tourism) 2. Origin and evolution of tourism 3. Resources of tourism 4. Supply and demand in tourism (private and public sector in tourism, mass tourism and new forms of tourism consumption, motivations of tourism) 5. Economic, social and environmental impacts of tourism
