Course objectives
At the end of the course student will be able to:
describe the structure and functions of plant cells, tissues and organs;
explain relationship between the structure and functions of plant cells, tissues and organs;
relate anatomy and environmental factors affecting it.
Learning outcomes
After passing the course Student will be able to:
- describe the structure and function of plant cell and its subcellular compartments;
- identify various kinds of plant tissues on real preparations, their structure and their role in plant body;
- distinguish the anatomy of vegetative plant organs (roots, stem, leaf) in monocotyledonous and dicotyledonous plants;
- apply the knowlegde in next study in biological disciplines, during working-out the bachelor and diploma theses, in case of students of teaching profession to apply the knowledge in their teaching practise.
