Course objectives
Students will understand the basics of the Czech language system, the focus will be mainly on speaking and using the language in practice and the communication in everyday as well as in the academic environment, though. Students will gain an insight into the life in the Czech Republic and integrate into the Czech society more easily. Students will get familiar with the following topics: future tense, prepositions, writing an email, house and apartment, genitive singular, nominative and accusative plural, travelling, motion verbs, human body, speaking at the doctor’s.
Learning outcomes
Students will extend their knowledge concerning Czech grammar, vocabulary and socio-cultural competences. They will be able to communicate in everyday life as well as in the academic environment.
