Course objectives (in Czech)
Předmět je určen studentům učitelství fyziky. Na vybraných příkladech je provedeno seznámení s astrofyzikou i s jejími výzkumnými metodami. Cílem je vytvoření u studentů uceleného soudobého astrofyzikálního obrazu vesmíru.
Syllabus
  • 1.Determination of distances in astronomy. 2.Basic parameters of stars. The third Kepler's law. Spectral classification. 3.The Hetzsprung-Russell diagram. 4.Physics of stellar interiors. 5.Origin, evolution, and final stadii of stars. 6.Stellar evolution in close binaries. 7.Galaxy. Stellar populations and their characteristics. 8.Galaxies. Quasars. 9.Structure of the Universe. Red shift. Hubble's Law. 10.The Cosmological Principle. Models of the Universe. Determinations of the Hubble Constant, decceleration parameter and average density of the Universe. The relict radiation. 11.The Sun and the solar system. The terrestrial planets. Cosmogony of the solar system.
