- Cíle předmětu
- This course provides practical application for English including speaking, listening, reading and writing. Students will have opportunities to improve their language use through discussions, exercises, leading learning centres and assignments. The course offers various techniques of language learning and teaching while developing a broader understanding of methodology and English speaking cultures.
- Výstupy z učení
- Student/ka: • osvojí si témata související s výukou a bude schopen/schopna o nich podloženě diskutovat. • stráví dva týdny v semestru na základní škole na náslechové praxi a bude schopen/schopna zpracovat svou zkušenost do reflektivní eseje. • bude rozvíjet sebereflexi v systematicky vedeném portfoliu i při vzájemném hodnocení spolužáků.

Try to decide at the start of the semester what you will work on. Option A: Do a warm-up or group division activity (about 5 minutes) Option B: Lead a learning centre - choose to teach something from Outcomes Advanced to a small group of students Option C: Create a test on materials covered in Outcomes Advanced Option D: work with a child to create a small project in English Option E: Create a multi-media presentation (video, powerpoint, prezi, etc) to teach a grammar point or some vocabulary to lower level students. Present it in class. There will be an oral exam at the end of the course. The examination will be taken in pairs, and students will be asked about what they have read during the semester and will be expected to be able to answer questions about the methodology topics covered. All assignments are compulsory. The remaining 50 points can be gained in the oral exam. The examination will be taken in pairs, and students will be asked about what they have read during the semester and will be expected to comment on and express their own opinions about the texts. You will also be asked to comment on your portfolio this semester. The examination is an oral one in which students will be asked to compare and contrast pictures related to topics discussed in class, and then asked to discuss one or more of the topics from the reader of their own choice. The passmark is 70%
