Course objectives
At the end of the course students should be able to:
describe the structure and functions of plant cells, tissues, and organs
explain differences in body structure of diverse groups of higher plants
relate changes of the plant body structure due to their development and as a response to various environmental factors.
Learning outcomes
After passing the course, student should be able to:
describe the structure and function of plant cells and their organelles
identify various kinds of plant tissues on real preparations, explain their structure and role in plant body functioning;
distinguish the anatomy of vegetative plant organs in tracheophytes;
identify a describe structures characteristic for generative phase of seed plants ontogenesis.
