- Parts of the final state examination and its contentFinal state examination in single-subject study programme consists of the following subjects:
1) Education and psychology
2) Social education and free time
3) Master thesis defence
Students prepare following a list of topics of integrative nature. The topics cover a general part of themes in education and psychology (state examination in education and psychology, which is important for students’ qualification in education) and an applied part (social education and free time), in which, based on situational examples, students explain given social-educational phenomena, problems and aspects using their knowledge of particular theoretical concepts. The content of the topics is taken from the curriculum of basic theoretical and profile courses. Students can use their professional portfolio created in course of their studies, their experience from the wide range of practice and from the developmental educational and research projects they prepared.
In the discussion students demonstrate their ability to apply a range of relevant theories, legislative frameworks, modern strategies (educational, social and psychological) and methods when solving practical social-educational problems. Creative approach proving students’ integrative knowledge and their creative application to the solution of real model situations is highly valued. - Suggestion of theses topics and the topics of defended thesesSuggested topics are published in the Information System, topics suggested by students are discussed as part of methodological preparation and confirmed in the process of submission and approval of the master thesis project.
