Abstract
Tyrosin hydroxyláza je první a rychlost-limitující krok v biosyntéze katecholaminů. Hydroxylací aminokyseliny L-tyrosinu produkuje L-DOPA - prekurzor neurotransmiteru dopaminu, který může být v následujících krocích v mozku transformovaný na hormony adrenalin a noradrenalin. Abstract
Tyrosine hydroxylase is the first, and rate-limiting enzyme in catecholamine biosynthetic pathway. Hydroxylation of amino acid L-Tyrosine produces L-DOPA - a precursor of neurotransmitter dopamine which can be in later steps transformed in brain to hormones adrenaline and noradrenaline.
