Tato diplomová práce se zabývá faktory, kterým žáci přisuzují svůj úspěch či neúspěch při studiu angličtiny. Cílem práce je aplikovat teorii atribuce na české střední škole za účelem zprostředkování informací ohledně názorů žáků učitelům této školy (včetně autorky této práce), které by mohly být využity k podpoře učebních výsledků. The thesis aims to examine the attribution theory in the context of a Czech upper-secondary school, using a survey research design. Three research questions will be addressed: 1. Which activities in an EFL class are perceived by students as the ones they are the most/least successful at? 2. Which causes do students attribute to their success/failure in an EFL class? 3. Is the dimensionality proposed by the attribution theory (i.e., locus, stability, and controllability) valid in the context of a Czech upper-secondary school?
