Diplomová práce se věnuje překladu části publikace L’Orient mystérieux et autres fadaises, jejímž autorem je François Reynaert. Diplomová práce se následně zabývá analýzou procesu překladu a výsledného textu. Diplomová práce rozebírá použité překladatelské postupy, přístup k překladu s přihlédnutím ke specifickému charakteru zdrojového textu a další problematické aspekty. The Master's thesis deals with the translation of the introduction and two chapters of The Mysterious Orient and Other Nonsense by a French author François Reynaert. The Master's thesis presents an analysis of the process of translation and of the target text. The Master's thesis examines methods of translation, adopted approach to translation with regard to the specific character of the source text and other difficulties.
