The course is recommended primarily for students of master's degree in law. Basic knowledge of the subjects taught in the first six semesters is expected. Knowledge of English language is expected, as some of the study materials are available in this language. - Course Enrolment Limitations

- Course objectives
- The aim of this course, that should serve as an introductory one, is to explain selected issues of private and public law regulation of information technologies.
- Learning outcomes
- Upon successful completion of the course the student shall be able to understand basic concepts of private and public law regulation of information technologies and analyze and solve particular problems related to the discussed issues.

For successful completion of the course, it is necessary to cumulatively meet the following sub-conditions:
Active participation in seminars (two absences allowed) - preparation in the form of studying the assigned study materials and their critical discussion at the seminar is required
Positive evaluation of one essay related to the selected thematic block.
During the semester it is necessary to submit a draft of an essay (in-term assessment), for the generation of which one of the systems of generative artificial intelligence is to be used, subsequently critical evaluation of such a generated draft of the essay by the students and its elaboration into original final version of the essay is expected; feedback on the concept is given by the tutors before the final versions of the essays are submitted, and an oral defence of the essasy takes place during the examination period as part of the colloquium - the evaluation of the final version of the essay is OK/NOK

Individual consultation with the course guarantor.
