- Abstract
The course builds on theoretical knowledge regarding individual musical activities and further deepens and expands them. Emphasis is placed on their practical implementation, especially listening and musical-movement activities.
- Learning outcomes
The student:
- is familiar with the issues of musical-movement activities; is able to apply movement and dance activities in practice in connection with musicological activities;
- practically master the methodological procedure of working with listening compositions, creates a stock of methodological materials for working with suitable listening compositions typical of individual periods in the history of music;
- is able to creatively connect musical-movement and listening activities with other musical activities, and also gains a basic overview of the possibilities of using drama education.
- Key topics
1. Musical-motor activities: motor-expressive means – elementary motor and dance element (folk dance, polka, minuet, mazurka, waltz, historical dances)
2. Perceptual activities – listening activities: listening goals, musical-expressive means – language of music, division of listening, methodological procedure of listening – connection with vocal, instrumental and musical-motor activities.
3. Musicological activities related to vocal and listening activities.

- Approaches, practices, and methods used in teaching
- Practical training: singing, accompaniment on elementary musical instruments, body play, elementary movement elements and dance steps, simple dances of various types, playing the piano/violin. Creating worksheets for listening activities and appropriate methodological procedures. Work on a teacher's portfolio for the subject of HV.

Type of teaching: seminar
Exam conditions:
students demonstrate theoretical knowledge and practical skills acquired in the subject Didactics of Music Education for Primary Schools 1 and 2. The exam consists of an oral part - theory of Didactics of Music Education 1 and 2 and a practical part (singing, conducting, playing the piano/violin): 10 songs (of which one canon, 3 folk songs, 3 artificial/popular songs, 3 songs on the history of music for the 2nd level of primary schools)
Furthermore:
Preparation of a presentation on a given period in the history of music with a recommended listening activity - worksheet; at least 80% active participation in the seminar.
