Course objectives
The course is focused on language teaching and speech skills in the language classroom. After defining the relation of speech skills to linguistic means, attention is paid to their particular aspects, to the typology of exercises and to various means of activating the teaching.
Learning outcomes
After completing this course the student is able to define language skills, explain their relation to speech skills, design examples in methodological sheets, apply the knowledge and skills in practice.

Teaching methods
Seminar, discussion, presentation, homeworks. Students of combined study are required to attend at least half of the consultations.
