Course objectives
The course aims at deepening the theoretical knowledge of doctoral students about the essence of the educational process, the values transmitted by music education, the foundations of aesthetic education, and the challenges of modern pedagogy towards digital technologies that can influence the personalization, socialization, and enculturation of people.
Learning outcomes
  • Advanced knowledge in the field of music and general pedagogy
  • Ability to use interdisciplinary knowledge in favor of an integrative view of the current music-educational reality
  • Ability to critically discuss selected educational issues in doctoral student's field
  • Ability to conceptually and methodologically defend the pedagogical overlap of the dissertation

    Theoretical preparation, literature review
    Assessment methods
    Exam – requirements: in the first part, students will draw one of the thematic areas and demonstrate their orientation in its content. If they meet these requirements, in the second part of the exam, the questions arising from the essay written in the previous semester will be the subject of further discussion.
