Abstract
The course is an entry into the issue of the study of ethnic processes. It makes the students familiar with basic terms of ethnic studies, and it deals with the ethno-genesis of ethnic communities (non-Slavic) in Europe.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course students should be able to describe the ethnogenesis of nations and ethnic communities of Europe. They should be able to use the anthropological, linguistic, religion and ethnological classification of ethnic communities.
