Course objectives
The main objective of the course is to teach students basic rules of web design. They should be able to create their own websites according to the standards of accessibility and usability. The course is aimed at practical work. We will be solving the real problems that we encounter during the lessons. We will create websites in Wordpress and in Umbraco CMS.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course, students - will be able to do an analysis of websites and find mistakes in their drafts; - will know the basics of website usability and accessibility; - will understand the principles of information architecture; - can establish web hosting and domain; - will be able to create websites in CMS like Wordpress or Umbraco;
