Course description:
The course focuses on review of and further exercises in the most problematic grammar structures found at the B2/B2+ level. Forms, meanings, and usage of grammatical structures of English are not only explained by an experienced teacher, they are also extensively practised during the lesson with the goal of making them automatic to the student. Learner-focused activities such as the analysis of learner errors will form an essential part of the lessons.
The course is also suitable for students aiming to sit the Academic English exam at The MU Language Centre (CJV).

Course content:

• Modal verbs - must/have to, can/be able to, be allowed to
• Prepositions - place/time, verbs + adjectives with prepositions
• Time and conditional clauses
• Relative clauses
• Reported speech
• Adverbs and adjectives
• Articles
• Collocations and phrasal verbs
