Tato bakalářská práce se věnuje překladu syntaktických struktur vyjadřujících emoce a důraz z angličtiny do češtiny. Pro tyto účely byl použit román Rozbřesk od Stephenie Meyerové. Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na jevy jako inverze, tzv. fronting, důrazové „do“, zvolací konstrukce a vytýkací konstrukce, které v angličtině nesou významný stylistický a emocionální náboj. Zadání práce
This bachelor thesis focuses on the Czech translation of syntactic structures expressing emotion and emphasis in Stephanie Meyer's "Breaking Dawn". The thesis focuses on structures such as inversion, fronting, emphatic "do" and exclamatives. The aim of the thesis is to analyse how these syntactic structures contribute to the expression of emotions and emphasis in the original text and how they can be effectively transferred to the target language, i.e. Czech. The thesis uses the methodology of comparative and linguistic analysis between the English original text and the Czech translation and the study of linguistic structures and rules concerning syntactic structures in relation to their functions in the expression of emotion and emphasis in both languages. The result of the work is recommendations for translation strategies to preserve the emotional and emphatic effect in the Czech translation.
