Course objectives
The course is aimed at technical aspects of digital photography, computer-aided image processing and digital photography aesthetics particularities.
  • Restrictive qualities of digital photography (electronic part parameters, optical part parameters, lighting parameters, digital picture parameters).
  • Innovative qualities of digital photography (virtual optical systems, panoramatic scenes).
  • Color spaces and image data formats (RGB, CMYK, CIExyz, CIELab).
  • Digital photography correction (image processing basics, geometry and color correction).
  • Digital image visual processing (geometric transformations, color transformations, filtering and collages, warping and morphing, special techniques).

Charakter výuky: přednášky na relevantní témata a praktické semináře (zpracování obrazu, virtuální optiky, skládání panoramat); samostatná práce (výtvarné zpracování digitální fotografie) ke kolokviu.
