Course objectives
This course introduces the basic principles and the characteristics of qualitative research. Students will be able to understand the differences between qualitative and qualitative approach and navigate the basic qualitative research methods necessary to create their own qualitative research project.

  • Qualitative versus quantitative research
  • theme problem and research questions
  • selection surveyed units.
  • entry into the field - field relations, rights and obligations.
  • methods of data collection (interview, observation)
  • Data Processing - Methods and techniques of textual analysis and coding
  • Processing and presentation of the project
