Course objectives
GENERAL PSYCHIATRY: content included propedeutic and symptomatology Practical training in seminar rooms and patients exploration patients history, basic examination, methodological approach in psychiatry psychopathology of each psychic function. SPECIAL PSYCHIATRY: content included main psychiatric disorders, diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Opening theoretical seminar (60 min.) practical application in patients. Presentation of patients chart, psychiatric diagnosis Classified credit, examination after practical education. Teachers information are available on the notice-board next to secretariat of Dept. of Psychiatry.

Teaching methods
SEGMENTS OF TEACHING FOR FOREIGN STUDENTS TRAINING SEMINARS: presentations on selected topics Psychiatry. Together with the study of literature and lectures is to provide students with a theoretical basis. It takes place in the classroom PK. CASE REPORT AND DEMONSTRATION OF CLINICAL CASES: it is either on interviews with patients led by teachers, instructional videos and interactive case studies. This segment of education is to serve as the first step in the application of theoretical knowledge about the differential diagnosis and therapy in psychiatry. It is expected students' active approach to solving the problems presented. It takes place in the classroom PK.
Assessment methods
TERMINATION - CREDIT For the award of credit is required presence in the teaching timetable. Unexcused absence is the reason the reason for denial of credit. In case of excused absence (they are allowed no more than two excused absences), it is necessary to agree on compensation with dr. Bartečkem, deputy for teaching. Another condition for the credit is the successful completion of a written test at the end of the second week internship. The test contains 13 questions of closed-type multiple choice one correct answer. To pass the test, a student must correctly answer at least 8 questions.
