Course objectives
The aim of the course is to understand the basics of intensive care medicine. Lecture consists of ethiology, diagnostics and treatment of most frequent critical conditions. The specific management of critically ill will be explained, including mechanical ventilation and advanced cardiopulmonary resuscitation.

  • Paediatric intensive care Nutrition. Acid-base balance disorders, electrolyte disorders Sepsis Intoxication Intensive care. Hemodynamic monitoring Shock. Fluid resuscitation Blood transfusions. Haematological management Disorders of consciousness, status epilepticus Respiratory failure. Status asthmaticus
