- Course objectives
- Diversity of plants, algae and fungi is presented, based on selected representatives of particular groups. Observation and drawing of the plant samples with regard to important characters of particular taxa.
- Learning outcomes
- After completion of this practical course students should be able to:
determine, classify and characterize basic taxons of both lower and higher plants in accordance to the recent system;
discuss ecological requirements of these taxa and their practical significance;
explain the basic morphological terms, apply them on real objects;
utilize basic microscopic techniques; create suitable scientific illustration. - Syllabus
