- Abstract
- The main goals of the educational process involve: - the improvement of the locomotive abilities and fitness - the impact on the positive approach towards sports activities considered as the protection against conflicts, civilization diseases and stress - the support of students healthy lifestyle The course introduces the basics of self-defence as well as the legal regulations and social standards influencing the sport.
- Learning outcomes
- After completing the course, students will be able: - to apply learned techniques in everyday life situations in case of their defence
- Key topics
- The course trains basic specific skills: sacrifice, throwing, striking, grappling and further self-defence techniques. Fitness exercises supporting the development of self-defencing skills as well as special women self-defence are also practised.
