This part of the course of practical language presupposes the starting level of productive and receptive skills higher to B1.

Course objectives
This course follows Practical Language 1-3. In this course, other selected phenomena of French Grammar are practiced and worked with their application in various types of texts, authentic materials, related to the specialization of the field. Students deepen B1+ level communication skills according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages and have the opportunity to practice various morphological phenomena and to expand vocabulary. Individual language skills (interaction, listening, reading, writing, speaking) and linguistic competencies (grammar, vocabulary) are practiced too. The aim of the course is to deepen students' communication skills. Students will consolidate acquired communicative competences (linguistic, sociolinguistic and pragmatic) and develop them.
Syllabus
  • Week 1-5 of the semester: L 18-22 of   textbook Alena Tionová French for advanced (Francouzština pro pokročilé). Week 6 - Repeating. Week 7-12: L23-25 of the   textbook of Alena Tion French for advanced and practicing translation techniques. Each week, part A of the prescribed lesson is discussed, and the part C lesson is also practiced. Emphasis is placed on explaining and practicing the grammatical phenomena and the irregular verbs. Part B of each lesson is the basis for additional 2V Language Exercises.
