Znalost anglického jazyka na středoškolské úrovni. Zvládnutí dovedností, které jsou obsahem 2 semestrů výuky odborné angličtiny - viz sylaby jednotlivých semestrů (JAP01, JAP02).

Syllabus (in Czech)
  • 1.Písemná část: Akademická část (akademická gramatika, přiřazování, logická návaznost, tvoření slov, definice); Gramatika na úrovni intermediate (např. učebnice Headway intermediate, Opportunities intermediate atd.); Odborný text - slovník povolen(porozumění textu: hlavní myšlenka, logická návaznost, správnost tvrzení, synonyma ); 2.Ústní část: Survival English (komunikace v běžných životních situacích); konverzační témata: 1)Giving personal details, introductions, family; 2)Asking and telling the way, orientation in a town, city transport, taxi; 3)Shopping (food, clothes), eating out; 4)Travelling – by train, by bus, by air (at the airport etc.); 5)Seeing a doctor – explain your problem; 6)Flat, house, accommodation; 7)Leisure time activities, entertainment, sports and games; 8)In a hotel, in a hostel, in a camp; 9)Describing people (character, feelings, emotions – positive, negative, likes, dislikes); 10)Weather, climate; Zkouška je zaměřena na prověření komunikačních dovedností. Studenti si vytáhnou jedno z výše uvedených témat. V jeho rámci dostanou zadaný konkrétní úkol (např. kupujete si na nádraží jízdenku z Londýna do Oxfordu; jste u lékaře – vysvětlete, co vás bolí apod.). Odborné okruhy (cca 10 témat): Odborná témata pro ústní část ZK B1 / Biologie 2006: - ACADEMIC LIFE, UNIVERSITY, BIOLOGY; - CELLS (e.g. structure, cloning); - MICROORGANISMS (e.g. bacteria); - PLANTS – PHYSIOLOGY (e.g. photosynthesis); - MORPHOLOGY (e.g. plant system); - ANIMALS – PHYSIOLOGY (e.g. circulatory system); - MORPHOLOGY (e.g. body parts); - HUMANS; - CLASSIFICATION OF SPECIES; - DIVERSITY AND EVOLUTION; - INTERACTIONS OF ORGANISMS (e.g. ecology, behaviour). Within the scope of the topics you can be asked to compare particular species, to describe causes and effects of some phenomena, describe a process, etc. Classification; Cause and effect; Comparing; Describing (appearance, process). Odborná témata k ústní části zkoušky JA001A - chemie: 1. Studying at University, Academic Life; 2. Chemistry and its Branches, Chemists; 3. Chemical Processes and Reactions; 4. Elements and the Periodic Table; 5. Compounds and their Nomenclature; 6. Matter – its Classification (Liquids, Gases etc.) and Properties; 7. Describing an Experiment, Including the Apparatus; 8. The Atom and Bonding; 9. Biochemistry; 10. The Environment; You should be able to talk about the topics in general (e.g. to describe main types of compounds). Within the scope of the topics you should be able to choose something specific and describe it in more detail (i.e.one famous chemist, a specific process/reaction, an element, a compound, an experiment). JA001A – Geologists: Odborná konverzační témata: 1.Studying at Masaryk university (structure, management, lessons, courses); 2.Scientific methods (How does a scientist work?); 3.What is the Earth? (forms of matter, spheres, layers of the interior); What is earth science? (sciences studying the earth); 4.Minerals (physical properties, classification); 5.Rocks (classification, the rock cycle, texture); 6.Weathering (types of weathering, causes and speed of weathering); 7.Erosion (agents, formation of a river valley, glacier, controlling erosion); 8.Deposition (agents, formation); 9.Volcanoes (volcanic landforms, where volcanoes occur); 10.Earthquakes ( folds, faults, origin of an earthquake); 11.Plate tectonics (theories, the interior of the earth); JA001A – odborná témata – fyzika: 1)Studying at University (detailed knowledge); 2)Physics and physicists; 3)Matter – its classification and properties; 4)Energy; 5)Atoms; 6)Motion; 7)Solar system; 8)Time and space; 9)Light; 10)Universe; Odborná témata pro ústní část ZK JA001A /Matematika 2006: - ACADEMIC LIFE, UNIVERSITY, MATHEMATICS; - BASIC MATHEMATICAL OPERATIONS (e.g. mental arithmetic); - ROMAN AND ARABIC NUMERALS (e.g. differences, history); - PYTHAGORAS'S THEOREM; - LINES, ANGLES AND TRIANGLES; - SETS (e.g. numbers, geometrical figures, notation); - PROPORTION; - VARIOUS KINDS OF AVERAGE (e.g. arithmetical mean, mode etc.); - FUNCTIONS AND THEIR DESCRIPTION; - NUMBER SYSTEM (e.g. classification); - SOLIDS (e.g. classification, comparing); Within the scope of the topics you can be asked to compare numbers, figures and solids, describe graphs, classify numbers and geometrical figures, etc. Odborná témata k ústní části zkoušky JA001A – Geography: 1.
