- Cíle předmětu
- The aim of this course is to explain selected issues of private and public law regulation of new forms of interactive entertainment.
- Výstupy z učení
- Upon successful completion of the course the student shall be able to understand basic concepts of private and public law regulation of new forms of interactive entertainment and analyze and solve particular problems related to the discussed issues.
- Osnova
- The course discusses three main areas of interest: videogames; online gambling and social media.
- Videogames - IP protection for videogames - Specific IP Law issues in videogames - Contract law - E-sport
- Online gambling - Introduction to the regulatory framework and regulatory issues; various forms and their legal aspects - Public law regulation of online gambling industry: administrative aspects and advertisement regulation - Specific issues
- Social media - Content creation: personality and personal data protection, IP protection, legal status of content creators - Content moderation: liability for unlawful content (incl. ISP liability), intervention by platforms, automated filtering, - Specific issues: content monetization,revenge porn, deep fakes, desinformation

- To successfully complete the course, it is necessary to cumulatively meet the following conditions:
- Active participation in the seminars (one absence allowed), reading of assigned sources and their subsequent critical discussion in seminars is expected
- Elaboration of one essay related to the topic of one of the seminars (a draft of the essay must be submitted during the semester to which feedback is provided) - grading OK/NOK
