  • Parts of the final state examination and its content
    Final state exam consists of the following parts:


    1. Defense of the Master’s thesis


    2. Linguistic Slavonic/Polish studies (with emphasis on Polish) – oral exam verifying knowledge from the area of theoretical thinking about language, diachronic and synchronic development of Polish language and orientation in stylistics.


    3. Literary Slavonic/Poliosh studies and Area studies (with emphasis on Polish and Central European area) – oral exam verifying knowledge of theory and newer history of Polish literature in cultural and historical context of Central European area, comparative literature and genre studies, exam also verifies orientation in the history of Czech-Polish relations and cultural background.


    4. Profile language (Polish) – oral and written exam verifying practical knowledge of Polish, that means knowledge of vocabulary and grammar, and ability to express oneself in writing and speaking on C1 level.
