Abstract

Padesátileté jubileum systematického výzkumu velkomoravského hradiska Pohansko u Břeclavi, které je zkoumáno Ústavem archeologie a muzeologie Filozofické fakulty Masarykovy univerzity, je v prostoru střední Evropy významné z řady hledisek. Lokalita je ojedinělá svými nálezy, rozsahem, metodologickým přístupem vědeckého týmu k informacím získaných výzkumem a neustále se rozšiřujícím záběrem výzkumu, který vyplývá z nových otázek, na něž je potřeba hledat odpovědi nejenom v regionálním, ale Evropském měřítku.

Abstract (in English)

The fifty-year anniversary of research at the Great Moravian settlement at Pohansko near Břeclav, which is being carried out by the Institute for Archaeology and Museology of Masaryk University's Faculty of the Arts, is important in a Central European context from a number of standpoints. The locality is unique for its finds, its size, the methodological approach of the scientific team towards the information acquired, and the expanding scope of the research following new issues for which answers must be sought from both regional and European perspectives.
