Abstract

Publikace se komplexně věnuje aktuálnímu pedagogickému tématu, kterým je využívání informačních a komunikačních technologií (ICT) ve vzdělávání. V knize je popsána role ICT v současné společnosti, je vymezena problematika e-learningu, ale také blended learningu či jeho vztahu k distančnímu vzdělávání. Jádrem knihy jsou kapitoly zaměřené na role e-learningu v celoživotním učení, aktéry e-learningu, či teorie učení v éře síťových digitálních technologií. Pozornost je věnována i mnoha prostředkům moderních technologií, u nichž je nastíněn jejich pedagogický potenciál. Autor přitom vychází z analýzy současné sociologické, psychologické a pedagogické teorie, ale také z výsledků zahraničních i českých empirických výzkumů, přičemž využívá rovněž vlastních výzkumů v této oblasti.

Abstract (in English)

This publication is focused on the issue of e-learning. The approach adopted in the book is theoretical and can be characterized as summing up the authors reflection of and research in e-learning. The book is based on a number of research projects, by the author himself as well as other Czech and foreign scholars researching e-learning. The author describes key metamorphoses of social life in connection with the upsurge of modern technologies, e-learning and educational paradigms, e-learning in lifelong learning, social networks etc. The analysis of the individual technologies has a pedagogical focus: the technologies are examined with a view to their teaching and learning applications.
